Sport contributes to a healthy mind, body and soul while building confidence and teaching critical life skills; goal setting and achievement, team work, perseverance, sportsmanship.

The Life Christian School Athletic Department offers a variety of sport opportunities throughout the year for both girls and boys including volleyball, soccer, basketball and track. Parent support and involvement is encouraged through the Lion Booster Club.  We look forward to teaming with your student to aid in the development of their skills and encouragement of their spirit.

Athletic Programs

ELEMENTARY ATHLETICS


LCS offers opportunities for our 3rd – 5th grade boys and girls to participate in athletics to further develop their character. This is another venue on our campus where the students can have some fun and achieve greater personal growth and success as an extension of the classroom. This developswell roundedand confident student.

Soccer

Our co-ed teams provide an opportunity for our boys and girls in 3rd – 5th grade to develop skills and compete against our local schools. Getting started early and investing in the future of your students development builds lasting skills, character development and team relations.

Soccer Season: August – November

Volleyball

Our 5th Grade girls have the opportunity to participate in our volleyball program. They will team with 6th grade girls to build upon their growing physical and social skills.

Volleyball Season: August – November

Basketball

Our co-ed teams provide an opportunity for our boys and girls in 3rd – 4th grade to develop skills and compete against our local schools. Getting started early and investing in the future of your student’s development builds lasting skills, character development and team relations.

MS ATHLETICS


Life Christian School offers our Middle School students great opportunities for athletic development. This will contribute to growth in their social development, physical strength, health, education and spiritual prosperity. We have a no-cut policy in athletics meaning all students can participate on an athletic team. Playing time and participation on the middle school teams is at the head coach’s discretion.

MS Soccer

Our co-ed teams provide an opportunity for our boys and girls in 6th – 8th grade develop skills and compete against our local schools. The teams will work on enhancing their skills on the field along with character development and team relations.

MS Volleyball

Our teams provide an opportunity for our in 7th – 8th grade girls to further develop skills and compete against our local schools. The teams will work on enhancing their skills on the court along with character development and team relations.

MS Basketball

Our teams provide an opportunity for our in 7th – 8th grade girls and boys to further develop their skills and compete against our local schools. The teams will work on enhancing their skills on the court along with character development and team relations.

Basketball Season: December – March

MS Track & Field

Our team provides an opportunity for our 6-8th to learn to develop their skills and compete with local schools. Athletes will have the opportunity to try different events to be able to experience the variety that track and field has to offer.

HS ATHLETICS


We offer OSAA varsity teams in 5 sports and also JV teams in some of these 5 sports. Life Christian High School has a no-cut policy in athletics meaning all students can participate on an athletic team. Playing time and participation on the varsity teams is at the head coach’s discretion.

Varsity Soccer

Our men’s soccer team is currently a part of OSAA special district 1 which is made up of 2 and 3A schools. We strive to develop athletes both on and off the soccer field in an environment that enhances individual confidence along with team success. We will give them all the necessary tools to enhance their soccer potential and prepare them fully for the progressive steps in their soccer careers. These goals will be achieved through hard work, dedication, sacrifice and commitment

Our Women’s and Men’s basketball teams are currently part OSAA 2A Northwest League which is made up of 2A Christian and public schools. We strive to develop athletes both on and off the court in an environment that enhances individual confidence along with team success. We challenge individuals to refine their character, to live by integrity, and to then trust their spirit.

Varsity Cross Country

Our Women’s and Men’s Cross Country teams have independent schedules where we are able to choose where we compete. We strive to develop athletes both on and off of the track in an environment that enhances individual confidence along with team success.

Sports Forms

Physicals


• Physicals Form 

• Required every two years and must be completed prior to participation in a sport.

• Physicals are valid for two years from the date they are issued.

Transfer Students


• Student Transfer Form 

• Students transferring from another high school, not entering as freshmen, must complete an

OSAA Eligible Student Transfer Certificate. This must be turned in to the Athletic Office to be on file prior to participation
