Mrs. Heinrichs grew up in Beaverton, Oregon, in a home her parents still reside at. She attended St. Andrew Lutheran Church in Beaverton growing up, and participated in youth group and several other student activities, including Campfire in elementary school and the Color Guard team at Westview High School, from which she graduated in 2001. She attended University of Oregon for one year, then transferred to Oregon State University, where she interned for elementary schools and non-profit agencies. She graduated in 2005 with a B.S. in Human Development and Family Science, with Early Childhood Development & Education and Human Services options. In May 2006, she graduated with a M.A.T. from University of Portland, and one month later married her high school sweetheart. Mrs. Heinrichs substituted in the local school districts for one year, before being hired at Life Christian School in 2007. She taught First Grade for two years, and is now in her third year of Third Grade. Mrs. Heinrichs loves spending time with her family (including eight nieces and nephews and counting) and her large orange tabby cat named Fuzzy, who loves to dress up in embarrassing costumes for pictures. She loves to decorate, create greeting cards, and spend time outdoors, especially at the beach. Her newest goal is to be a better cook and travel to all 50 states, though she has only made it to 19 so far. Mrs. Heinrichs continues to reside in Hillsboro and currently attends Westport Church in Hillsboro, Oregon.
