Ms. Winans grew up in the Hood River Valley where her ancestors settled in 1887.  Growing up the library was one of her favorite places to frequent.  She attended Portland Bible College and earned an Associate of Christian Humanities degree.   Then she attended Northwest College and graduated with

a B.A. in Elementary Education.   She has taught at LCS since 1998 and currently teaches an Advanced Kindergarten and First Grade blend.   She enjoys reading, hiking, and baking.  She attends Life Church.
