Mr. Neill grew up in Northern Washington, where as a high school student he was on the Science Olympiad team. He accepted Christ into his heart as a Sophomore in high school. He attended George Fox University, where he graduated in 2004 with a B.A. in Philosophy and a B.S. in Biology. He then attended Portland State University, where his research focused on frog physiology. He graduated with a M.S. in Biology in 2007. He has been teaching at Life Christian School since 2009. He primarily teaches the science classes for the school, and is also the coach for the Science Olympiad team. He also teaches the Human Anatomy and Physiology class for college credit through Northwest Nazarene University. He is an avid hiker and backpacker, especially enjoying the area around the Olympic Peninsula. He has a black belt in Taekwondo. He is married and lives in Hillsboro with his wife Holly, a cat named Schrödinger, and a dog named Tesla. He currently attends Sunset Presbyterian Church in Beaverton Oregon.
