Mrs. Paz grew up in Portland, Oregon. As a child she was an avid soft ball player. She attended Portland State University and George Fox University, where she graduated with a B.A in English and a M.A.T (Masters of Arts in Teaching). She has been teaching at LCS since 2006. This is Cheryl’s third year teaching 1^st grade, but she has also taught Pre-School, Kindergarten, 5^th grade, and has substituted K-5. She enjoys being with her family, being creative, and camping. She is married and lives in Hillsboro with her husband, daughter, and son. She also has two cats. She has attended Beaverton Foursquare Church for around 15 years.
