Mrs. Malakowski (aka Mrs. M, as many of the students here know her!) grew up in Southern California and attended 6th – 12th grades at Liberty Christian School – another “LCS”! – where she was known as the class bookworm and was class Valedictorian. Her love of reading continues to this day. Towards the end of 6th grade at Liberty, Mrs. Malakowski asked Jesus Christ to be Lord of her life – best decision ever! During the summer of 1985, she was an exchange student to Norway. In 1990, she graduated from George Fox College with a major in Writing/Literature, a minor in acting (those acting skills come in very handy with Preschoolers!) and classes in Early Childhood Development. She taught at a daycare/preschool in Southern California during college vacation times. She and her husband, Dave, have two sons, Alec and Jaden (who are now both taller than her!) and the cutest dog ever, Angel, who thinks she’s one tough cookie! In 2004, Mrs. Malakowski began teaching Preschool at Life Christian School where her greatest desire is for the children to know that Jesus loves them so much. In 2008 she also became the Librarian for the LCS Elementary Library. She and her family attend Life Church in Aloha, where Dave is the leader of Royal Rangers, a mentorship-based ministry for boys. Outside of school time, Mrs. Malakowski enjoys spending time with family and friends, camping, hiking, traveling, reading, gardening, playing card games and roller skating.
