Angie was born and raised in Rapid City, South Dakota. She attended North Central University in Minneapolis, Minnesota with a B.S. in Education in 1993. She taught in the Minneapolis public school system until 1995. Angie and her husband, Adam, moved to South Dakota where she became the Children’s Pastor at Open Bible Christian Center. In 1999 she was appointed the National Children’s Ministry Director for Open Bible Churches. The Taylor family moved to Sacramento, California in 2001, where she became the principal of Freedom Christian School. Angie taught both middle school and high school science classes while at Freedom. She has an all levels principal certificate through ACSI and received her Masters Degree in Education with a specialization in technology graduating with Distinction. In 2011, she moved to Portland, Oregon and began working as the principal of Life Christian School.

Adam and Angie have been married for 19 years and have three children, Lauren age 15, Mason age 12 and Eden age 5.
