I am grateful to God for His lavish love towards me. Daily, I am in awe of His grace in my life and His love for His children. It amazes me that He sent His precious son, Jesus, to make a way for me to have a relationship with Him. I am truly excited about Jeremiah 29:11, which says, He has a plan for my life (and yours); they are plans to prosper me, to give me hope and a future. He does not give up on me when I have failed Him. It is the recognition of Christ’s extravagant love in my life that should cause me to see others through another filter. He is reaching to each of us today. It is my prayer that Christ’s love and grace would fill our campus. May our students be changed, because they found a safe place to grow in Him. May we deal with one another in a way that brings glory to God. It is my hope that when guests come on our campus the difference God can make will be palpable. Let us walk in unity and grace as we bring honor to Him.
Recently, a quote by T.S. Eliot particularly triggered my pondering, "Where is the wisdom we have lost in knowledge? Where is the knowledge we have lost in information?" It was a reminder to me that our goal is not just to transmit data to our students, but to continually prompt them to make real life application of the information to gain understanding academically and spiritually. Proverbs 2:1-5 says, "My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding...then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God." What a blessing to be able to educate your children with the Bible as the ultimate textbook!
Amazed by His grace,
Angie Taylor
